Job Description

Environment Control is looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative accounting expert to join our accounting team. This is an opportunity to step into a key role where your expertise will be valued, and your contributions will help drive the success of a growing organization. If you enjoy balancing technical accounting responsibilities with project work and cross-functional collaboration, we'd love to meet you. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle General Ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, depreciation, month-end close, and financial reporting. Reconcile and maintain accurate balance sheet accounts across multiple franchise locations. Support multi-state payroll processing, audits, and compliance reporting. Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions. Participate in accounting projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives. Help strengthen internal controls and contribute to accounting best practices. What We're Looking For Four-year degree (accounting or business preferred) or equivalent experience including three years of accounting experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position. Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas. Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Self-starter with a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and accountability. Experience identifying process improvements and driving efficiencies is a plus. Why Join Environment Control?
