Job Description
Oversee all aspects of plant accounting including cost accounting, budgeting, analysis and reporting. Duties & Responsibilities Essential Perform all plant cost accounting responsibilities Assist in month end close processes Complete daily and monthly variance analysis and reporting Prepare, review and analyze plant level budgets and forecasts Responsible for generation of plant level standard cost data Perform cost and financial analysis and communicate with management information on results Support Operations in the development and publication of financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Educate plant management on accounting procedures and production impact Complete weekly leadership team reporting Prepare and present monthly results to operations review team Additional Complete special projects as assigned. Supervision of Others None Licenses, Permits, Certifications Required None needed Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Essential Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field 1 year experience in Accounting Excellent people and communication skills Strong knowledge of MS Office (primarily Excel) and accounting software Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong leadership skills and able to act as a key member of plant management team
