Job DescriptionJob Description Senior Accountant LHH Garden City, New York, United States (On-site) LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant at our manufacturing client in Garden City, NY. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and reporting. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. Senior Accountant/Management Accountant level person, manufacturing background with Oracle ERP system experience. ASC 606 revenue recognition experience is optimal. Aerospace/defense is not required. Responsibilities Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes Research and analyze expense variances for company management ASC 606 Revenue Recognition experience Experience with ASC 606, revenue recognition over time (OT) occurs when a performance obligation is satisfied as control of a good or service is transferred to the customer gradually rather than at a single point in time. Pay Details:
