Key Responsibilities •
Inventory Management :
Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity. Manage annual physical inventory count and regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained in perpetual inventory system. Forecast raw material needs for production demand. Bill of Materials processing. •
Cost Analysis :
Analyze inventory costs and discrepancies, providing insights to support financial decision-making and cost control initiatives. •
Reporting :
Prepare detailed inventory reports for management review, highlighting trends, discrepancies, and recommendations for improvement. •
Collaboration :
Work closely with operations teams to ensure accurate accounting of inventory build and purchase transactions and compliance with internal controls. Ensure inventory is clearly identified and organized for optimal warehouse management. Assist with vendor relationships and pricing negotiation. •
Compliance :
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies related to inventory management and financial reporting. •
Support Financial Needs:
potential future independent financial audits, outside data requests Qualifications •
Education:
A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field •
Experience:
Previous experience in cost accounting or inventory management is preferred •
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Sage 100 or other similar ERP. Microsoft office proficiency, especially Excel (pivot tables and vlookup). PowerBI. • Attention to
Detail:
Ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies in inventory data. •
Analytical Thinking:
Strong problem-solving skills to analyze costs and propose solutions for inventory management.
Pay:
$67,159.46 - $80,880.21 per year
