$25-$32.50 About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate is an accounting generalist with experience in both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) , preferably within the construction or distribution industry . This position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting project teams, and ensuring smooth accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update Project Boards, Project Folders, and Shared Calendars Review Regular, ConSales, and Project Orders for accuracy and completeness Prepare Franchise Aging Reports for multiple account types Analyze and prepare freight and storage reports for senior management Verify travel expenses and ensure change orders are processed correctly Provide financial data to the Controller for monthly reporting Collaborate with the sales team to document and reconcile change orders against quotes and proposals Prepare and deliver Final Settlement Packages (project reconciliations) for customers Prepare pay requests and lien waivers for construction contracts Generate LTO invoices for corporate accounts Assist with special accounting projects as assigned Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role Experience in construction or distribution accounting preferred Proficient in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities Education Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Why You'll Love This Role Competitive pay ($25/hour) Collaborative and supportive team culture Opportunities for professional growth Engaging work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401K Employee Assistance #
