Join a growing manufacturing company where accounting is viewed as a business partner—not just a reporting function. This is an opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys understanding how a business operates, not just how the numbers tie out. You'll work closely with leadership, gain exposure to budgeting, audits, fixed assets, manufacturing cost structures, and financial analysis, while helping drive the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial operations.   • Own key areas of the monthly close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Help ensure accurate and timely financial statements and month-end reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning activities
  • Manage fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital project accounting
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, and other departments to support business objectives
  • Assist with annual audits and tax-related requests
  • Contribute ideas to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency What We're Looking For
  • CPA required (or eligible to sit for within 6 months)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, or public accounting serving manufacturing/distribution clients
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve problems
  • Desire to continue growing professionally and advance within an organization Permanent US work authorization required Location or Relocation to: Central Illinois - 2 hours South of Chicago Why This Opportunity?
