Responsibilities include:
Leading essential elements of the monthly closure process, ensuring precise reconciliations, journal entries, and insightful financial analyses. Guaranteeing timely and error-free financial statements and reporting by month's end. Supporting and contributing to budget predictions, annual plans, and forecasts. Overseeing capital project accounting, fixed asset management, and depreciation schedules. Collaborating with different departments to fulfill organizational goals and improve processes. Assisting in compliance with annual fiscal and audit requirements. Innovating to refine accounting methods and reporting efficacy.
Qualifications we seek:
CPA certification required or eligible to certify within six months. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Previous exposure to the manufacturing or industrial distribution sectors, or experience with public accounting firms serving similar clients. A robust grasp of financial reporting, general ledger operations, and month-end closures. Ability to multitask and solve complex problems with minimal supervision. A proactive attitude towards career advancement and continuous professional development. Must possess permanent authorization to work in the U.S. What sets this role apart?
