You'll keep our general ledger up-to-date, ensure the accuracy of our financial information, support HR payroll functions, and use QuickBooks for tracking. Candidates should be experienced problem-solvers, well-organized, detail-oriented, and time-efficient.
Compensation:
$60,000 - $65,000
Responsibilities:
Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts Process payroll and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes audits Manage payroll duties to ensure employees are paid on time and accurately Conduct financial analysis for work centers, identify cost trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Assist with the preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during annual audits Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements Process accounts receivable and accounts payable in a timely manner Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers Complete bookkeeping duties: Data entry and record maintenance
Qualifications:
Experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the logistics industry. Ability to perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently. Proven track record of assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Proficiency in processing payroll and ensuring accurate employee compensation records. Strong skills in managing accounts payable and ensuring timely invoice payments. Experience in preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for reporting purposes, enhancing team synergy and accuracy in financial reporting processes.
