Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented AP/AR Accountant to oversee financial operations and office management for a $3-4 million company. This role requires strong accounting skills and the ability to manage multi-state payroll for a small team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting functions including general ledger and reconciliation , budgeting, and financial planning. Manage payroll for 14 employees (6 multi-state, 7 IL hourly, 3 IL salary) until transition to ADP in 2026-2027. Maintain and clean up QuickBooks; assist with migration to ADP. Prepare financial reports and monitor trends for accuracy. Collaborate with CPA for payroll and compliance. Utilize Microsoft 365 for reporting and documentation.
