$60,000 – $80,000 +Benefits Schedule:

- Benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and flexible PTO Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and financial operations, including:
- Process accounts payable and accurately code invoices by project and cost category
- Manage vendor records, subcontractor documentation, W-9s, insurance certificates, and related compliance files
- Prepare and track vendor payments
- Assist with construction and development draw requests and supporting documentation
- Perform bank, credit card, and intercompany account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate job cost records and support budget tracking activities
- Process deposits, receivables, and various property-related transactions
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities
- Support financial reporting, lender reporting, and audit/tax preparation needs
- Work across multiple entities and projects while maintaining organized financial records
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
- Collaborate with operations, project management, and leadership teams on accounting needs Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a related finance role
- Experience with accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close activities
