Full Job Description Position:
Accounting Associate Full-time, non-exempt
Position Purpose:
The Accounting Associate is responsible for providing bookkeeping and financial data support to accounting team as well as other departments as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform all AP and AR functions for SDB Products and additional company brands. Perform accounting and business administration functions as assigned. Research, track, and resolve accounting problems. Use Quickbooks, NetSuite and MarKov computer systems for bookkeeping functions. MRP/ERP working knowledge and experience Use Excel to prepare required accounting reports. All data entry work for accounts payable, accounts receivable and posting deposits in software. Purchase company supplies and assists with expediting purchase orders when needed. Verify customer purchase orders to sales orders for accuracy. Track down issues with receiving and vendor invoices, and other vendor discrepancies. Be able to write professional correspondence, internally and externally. Communicate clearly and comprehensively using Microsoft Tools. Flexibility switching tasks. Good at prioritizing. Any other task required to facilitate the efficiency of the Finance & Business Operation department.
Expectations:
Willingness to work regular overtime as needed. Be able to read and write and speak English. Bilingual a plus. Ability to write and speak clearly to openly communicate. Effective at building quick interpersonal rapport and trust. Team player, respectful and professional attitude. Strong collaboration skills. Highly self-motivated, structured and disciplined. Promote safety by abiding by all related policies and procedures and set a good example for others. High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree and/or Bachelor's degree preferred
Physical Capabilities:
Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. on occasion. Employee will continuously use both hands, sit for extended periods of time, and use rapid or well-developed coordination simultaneously. Must be able to hear and understand work direction Able to see properly to fulfill expectations of position.
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
