Job Description Position Summary The purpose of this internship is to assist Finance in a number of projects and to provide a learning platform in a business setting. Essential Duties & Responsibilities General accounting activities such as account reconciliation, consolidating and analyzing financial data, cost accounting, research, and financial reporting Contributing to business cases which analyze investment opportunities Supporting budget and forecast processes Supporting internal and external audit Participate in intern class activities Work on special projects as assigned Knowledge & Skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to management and cross functional team members Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and organize/prioritize job assignments and tasks Ability to take work direction as a learning opportunity Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project) Enrolled in an accredited college program Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma required Work Environment This is largely a sedentary role. This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
