About the Company We are an established commercial and industrial general contractor with 20+ years delivering distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, food production plants, and healthcare environments throughout the Midwest. About the Role We are growing and looking for a Project Accountant to join our team. Responsibilities Prepare and process
AIA G702/G703
owner billings and monthly pay applications Manage subcontractor pay apps, lien waivers, and sworn statements Track job costs, budgets, and variances across multiple active projects Process subcontractor and vendor invoices and manage accounts payable Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments Maintain project financial records, change orders, and contracts Work closely with Project Managers on cost reporting and cash flow Qualifications 3+ years of construction accounting experience inside a GC or subcontractor Required Skills Hands-on experience with AIA billing, lien waivers, and job costing Familiarity with construction accounting software (Sage, ComputerEase, Viewpoint, or similar) Strong Excel skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Stable work history and a team-first attitude Preferred Skills None specified Pay range and compensation package Competitive salary commensurate with experience Performance-based annual bonus 401(k) with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and holidays A stable, collaborative team where your work gets noticed Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
