Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join a collaborative finance team in a fast-paced, professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to key accounting functions, contribute to process improvements, and work alongside experienced leadership within a well-established company. What You'll Be Doing Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, reclasses, and adjustments Perform monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts Take ownership of the month-end close process and help ensure timely, accurate financial reporting Analyze general ledger activity, identify variances, and research discrepancies Prepare supporting schedules and assist with financial reporting and audit requests Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls Recommend and support accounting process improvements and documentation initiatives Partner closely with AP, AR, Payroll, and FP&A teams to support daily accounting operations Assist with year-end close activities and external audit preparation What We're Looking For Strong understanding of general accounting principles and month-end close activities Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional seeking a dynamic role with a reputable company that values teamwork, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
