This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working closely with leadership in a collaborative environment. If you have strong property accounting experience, hands-on Yardi knowledge, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team setting, we would love to connect with you. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle property accounting for a residential portfolio Lead month-end and year-end close processes Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations, and reporting Maintain and reconcile general ledger activity in accordance with GAAP Serve as the primary Yardi administrator and internal support resource Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and account activity Process mortgage payments, real estate taxes, and vendor disbursements Oversee Accounts Payable and weekly payment processing Process bi-weekly payroll through ADP Manage tenant accounting, deposits, refunds, and collections Review lease agreements and analyze financial impact Partner with external CPA firms for year-end tax reporting and compliance Prepare 1099s and support audit requests Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls Assist and support junior accounting staff as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience Property accounting experience required Yardi experience required ADP payroll experience preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Advanced Excel skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment CPA or CPA-track preferred Why Join Our Team?
