Temporary with potential for long-term part-time employment About the Opportunity Our client, a family-owned business with an eight-person office, is seeking a Part-Time Accounting Specialist to support their Accountant with day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, small-business environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. Responsibilities Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing Prepare and post journal entries Support monthly close activities and reconciliations Maintain Excel spreadsheets and financial reports Participate in the weekly Bank/Borrowing Base Certificate (BBC) reporting process, including AP, AR, and inventory data Support accounting recordkeeping and general financial operations Assist the Accountant and business owner with ad hoc accounting projects

Required:

2+ years of experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and journal entries Strong Microsoft Excel skills Knowledge of month-end close processes Ability to work independently in a small-office environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

QuickBooks experience Small business or family-owned company experience Experience preparing or assisting with borrowing base or cash reporting
