We're looking for a Staff Accountant to keep our books accurate, our vendors on track, and our stores supported as we continue to grow. In this role, you'll handle core accounting work — journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close — while serving as a go-to resource for our stores on vendor accounts, invoices, billing, and pricing. You'll help get new stores and acquisitions up and running, keep point-of-sale (POS) pricing accurate, support reporting and dashboards, and look for ways to reduce vendor spend. Assist with period-end and month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for financial statements. Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and vendor inquiries. Store & Vendor Support Provide store-level vendor support and issue resolution, serving as a resource for stores regarding vendor accounts, invoices, pricing, billing issues, credits, and other vendor-related concerns. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to research and resolve issues in a timely manner and ensure accurate billing and service. New Store Openings & Acquisitions Support new store openings and acquisitions by coordinating accounting and vendor setup activities. Establish and maintain vendor accounts for new locations, including utilities/electric, food suppliers, uniforms/aprons, credit card processing, and other operational vendors. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to obtain required documentation, establish accounts, confirm pricing and terms, and ensure vendors are ready for new store openings. Support accounting setup and implementation activities related to new stores and acquisitions. Point-of-Sale (POS) Pricing Assist with pricing updates and maintenance within the point-of-sale (POS) system. Coordinate and validate POS pricing changes to ensure pricing is accurate and properly reflected in sales and financial reporting. Reporting & Analytics Support financial reporting, dashboards, and analytics by gathering, analyzing, and validating financial and operational data. Assist with variance analysis and provide reporting to management to support business decisions. Support reporting and analytics initiatives, including maintaining dashboards, preparing recurring reports, and assisting with ad hoc financial analysis. Assist with financial data integrity across accounting, POS, and other operational systems. Cost Savings Support cost savings initiatives by analyzing vendor spend, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and researching opportunities for improved pricing, terms, rebates, and efficiencies. Partner with Operations to identify and implement vendor savings opportunities while maintaining service levels and product quality. Process Improvement & Collaboration Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, systems, and automation. Collaborate with Operations and other departments to support accurate financial information and successful new store openings. Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred 2-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-location restaurant, retail, or high-volume environment
