In this role, you will play a key part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of consolidated GAAP financial statements across a complex, multi-entity structure. This position offers strong exposure to corporate-level reporting, audit processes, and cross-functional collaboration—making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a sophisticated real estate/investment environment. What You'll Do Financial Reporting & Close Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for corporate and underlying entities Prepare consolidated financial statements, reporting packages, dashboards, and analytics Review general ledger activity to ensure accuracy and proper accounting treatment Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting Audit & Compliance Support the annual audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor requests Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies Maintain audit readiness and support control environments Analysis & Forecasting Analyze financial results and provide budget-to-actual variance analysis Assist with annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting Prepare quarterly cash flow reporting and tax-related calculations Process Improvement & Controls Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Support the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures Strengthen internal controls and reporting processes Collaboration & Special Projects Partner with Finance, Asset Management, and other internal teams to resolve discrepancies Support consolidation across multiple entities and ownership structures Contribute to special projects and ad hoc initiatives
What You Bring Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience) 3-7 years of progressive accounting experience Experience with financial statement preparation, consolidations, and audit support Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
Preferred:
Experience in real estate, investment management, or private equity environments Exposure to partnership accounting or tax preparation CPA designation (or in progress)
Skills:
Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail Advanced Excel skills (e.g., complex models, lookups, data analysis) Experience with accounting systems (Yardi or similar preferred) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and collaboration skills
Annual Base Salary Range:
$86,558 -$108,197. This position is eligible to participate in the company's annual discretionary bonus program.
