Sr. Tax Accountant

Job Description:

As a Senior Tax Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering top-notch tax services to our clients. You will work closely with a team of professionals, including managers and partners, to provide comprehensive tax planning and compliance services.

Tax Compliance:

Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

Tax Planning:

Collaborate with clients and team members to develop tax strategies that minimize liability and maximize financial benefits.

Research:

Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and conduct research to provide insightful recommendations to clients.

Client Communication:

Interact directly with clients to address inquiries, provide guidance, and build strong client relationships.

Supervision and Mentorship:

Assist in the training and mentorship of junior associates, helping them develop their tax knowledge and skills.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax returns and workpapers, meeting industry standards and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field CPA certification is a plus 3+ years of relevant tax experience in a public accounting firm. Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
