full-time Supports the Sr. Director of Finance in handling the day-to-day accounting operations and manages accounting records, reconciliations, month-end close, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting. About the Role Responsibilities Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist in the preparation of financial statements. Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis. Maintain accurate and timely general ledger records and supporting documentation. Prepare resident billing and meet with residents to answer invoice questions. Assist with annual audits and provide requested schedule and supporting documentation. Support the Sr. Director of Finance in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Assist with accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including salary calculations and deductions. Support the Sr. Director of Finance in managing all financial reporting and regulatory compliance activities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Performs other such duties as may be assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting. 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping or finance experience. Required Skills Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations and payroll laws. Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Paylocity). Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to patiently serve others with kindness and compassion.
