Job Description

Robert Half is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization to identify a Grants Accountant who wants their work to directly support meaningful community programs. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant who enjoys hands-on work, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and is interested in building experience in grant and nonprofit accounting within a growing, high-impact organization.

What You'll Be DoingYou'll manage a portfolio of grants and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting program success.

Core responsibilities include:

Preparing and posting journal entries related to grant activityPerforming account reconciliations and ensuring timely general ledger accuracyManaging financial tracking and reporting for assigned grant programsSupporting monthly financial reporting, including fund-level income statementsAssisting with budget vs. actual analysis and partnering with program leadersMaintaining grant documentation and supporting audit and compliance effortsCollaborating across accounting and operational teamsThis role offers strong ownership with support from a collaborative, experienced team.
