Job Description

Senior Accounting Manager We are partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to identify a Senior Accounting Manager to join their leadership team. This is a highly visible role responsible for overseeing core accounting operations, leading month-end close activities, and partnering cross-functionally with operations and finance leadership to support business performance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting, combined with experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to lead and develop a high-performing team. Responsibilities Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Oversee general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Partner closely with plant operations and leadership on inventory, cost accounting, and operational analysis Manage and mentor accounting staff while helping improve processes and internal controls Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and audit requirements Assist with ERP optimization, process improvements, and system implementations Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, supply chain, and senior leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Prior experience within manufacturing, distribution, or a product-based environment required Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting principles CPA preferred Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities Why Join High-visibility role with exposure to executive leadership Opportunity to make an impact within a growing organization Collaborative and team-oriented culture Competitive compensation package with bonus potential and strong benefits #LI-MC1 #
