Senior Accountant Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team in the insurance industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements specific to insurance or related sectors. Key Responsibilities for the
Senior Accountant:
Manage month-end and year-end close processes , ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and analyze financial statements , reconciliations, and variance reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards applicable to insurance operations. Collaborate with internal teams on budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation. Support process improvements and system enhancements for greater efficiency. Requirements for the
Senior Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). 3+ years of accounting experience , with exposure to insurance or related industry strongly preferred. Solid knowledge of GAAP , internal controls, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills . Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
