Senior Tax Accountant - Estate & Trust An established public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with Estate & Trust experience to join its practice. Opportunity to work closely with experienced tax professionals while supporting high-net-worth individuals, estates, trusts, closely held businesses, and other complex clients . Responsibilities Prepare Form 1041 Fiduciary Income Tax Returns Prepare Form 706 Estate Tax Returns Prepare Form 709 Gift Tax Returns Prepare deceased taxpayer income tax returns Prepare complex individual and pass-through tax returns Support Estate & Trust tax planning, research, compliance, and reporting Review trust agreements and wills to determine appropriate tax filings and understand estate structures Assist managers and partners with tax-planning and consulting matters Research technical Estate & Trust tax issues Organize client assignments and manage multiple projects and deadlines Build strong relationships with clients and internal team members Support and mentor developing tax professionals Identify opportunities to improve engagement efficiency and client service Qualifications 3+ years of current public accounting experience Hands-on Estate & Trust tax experience Experience preparing Forms 1041, 706, and 709 Experience working with high-net-worth individuals Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA, CPA
candidate, or eligible to sit for the CPA exam Candidates who have not yet obtained their CPA should have a genuine interest in pursuing certification Strong technical tax and research skills Proficiency with tax software and working knowledge of QuickBooks What the Opportunity Offers 4 weeks of PTO plus sick time/Comprehensice Health/dental/vision/ 401K Paid holidays This is a 100% onsite opportunity . During peak tax season, professionals should anticipate approximately 54-60 hours per week .
