Job Description:
Addison Group is partnering with a rapidly growing, publicly traded global leader to hire a Senior Accountant. This position will play a key role in both GAAP and non-GAAP revenue reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity across financial processes.
Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 1-2 days in office)
Key Responsibilities:
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles Review and record transactions in accordance with GAAP and ASC 606 Perform revenue reconciliations across all reporting periods Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate contract review and billing Prepare journal entries and revenue-related schedules Assist with internal and external audits Ensure compliance with SOX requirements Support 10-Q and 10-K reporting, including footnotes and disclosures Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA (or progress toward certification) preferred 3+ years of relevant accounting experience Public accounting experience preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606 Advanced Excel skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills
