This role will be hybrid. Why You'll Love This Project Accountant Opportunity Extensive interaction with Project Managers, Finance Leadership, and cross‑functional teams Exposure to project financials, contract billing, cash forecasting, and operational analysis Collaborative, team‑oriented environment with a strong "family‑feel" culture despite large company size Clear path for professional development, mentorship, and long‑term career growth Strong benefits package and hybrid flexibility after initial onboarding period Key Responsibilities of the Project Accountant Handle project accounting activities including financial reporting, cost tracking, and reconciliation support Manage billing packages and required contract documentation, including subcontractor invoices Coordinate subcontractor and vendor payments, including lien waiver tracking and compliance Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on collections, and maintain cash flow forecasts Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure payments align with contract terms Support financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives Ideal Background for the Project Accountant Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred or in progress 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within construction or project‑based environments Strong understanding of job costing, contract billing, and project financials Advanced Excel skills required; experience with data visualization tools a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment $85,000 – $110,000 + bonus #LI-AH1 #
