ROLE PURPOSE/ POSITION SUMMARY
Provide support to the business operations team on cost drivers of the business. Oversee and analyze cost expenditures and purchases.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activities such as inventory, raw material purchases, labor, and overhead. PPV (Purchase Price Variance) analysis and reporting. Margin analysis on material revenue vs material costs, including yield/scrap loss analysis. Assist in month-end close of the general ledger, including preparing and posting journal entries. General ledger account reconciliations. Reconcile inventories and analyze periodic changes to balances. Assist with external and internal audits. Continuous improvement of cost accounting functions and processes. Various ad hoc reporting and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS/ CAPABILITY PROFILE
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in Accounting Minimum Experience Minimum of 5-7 years of cost accounting or financial analysis Experience in a manufacturing environment, CPG a plus Minimum Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Excellent analytical skills and sound understanding of accounting principles High proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables ERP system experience, prior usage of Microsoft D365 a plus Experience with Nulogy WMS/MRP software a plus Experience developing and analyzing standards costs Ability to effectively communicate results and issues to various audiences Ability to function in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Naturally inquisitive and proactive mentality Apply today and join our rapidly growing team!
