Granger, IN | 100% Onsite About the Opportunity for aSenior Accountant:
- Join a collaborative finance team supporting critical accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation functions
- Opportunity to take ownership of complex financial analysis, reporting, and month-end activities
- Play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and providing meaningful insights to business leadership Overview of the Senior Accountant role:
- Perform and review bank reconciliations by downloading data into Excel and validating information against internal reports
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial statements using Excel, including pivot tables and advanced data organization
- Apply a strong understanding of debits, credits, and account analysis to support accurate financial reporting
- Analyze financial data, perform detailed "tick and tie" procedures, and ensure consistency across multiple reporting sources
- Develop charts, dashboards, and executive-level reports, including exporting deliverables into PDF format for leadership review
- Assist with month-end close activities and support ongoing process improvement initiatives Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant role:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience with bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and general ledger account analysis
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, data analysis, reporting, and data validation
- Ability to work with large datasets and independently identify and resolve discrepancies
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities
