Rea Logan & Co., LLC, CPAs is a trusted accounting firm serving north central Indiana with offices in Marion, Peru, and Wabash. Our offices provide personalized tax, accounting, and financial services to individuals and businesses in the community. We pride ourselves on professionalism, accuracy, and a welcoming client experience.
Position Summary:
The Staff Accountant supports the firm's tax, accounting, and assurance engagements by performing high-quality work under the supervision of senior staff, managers, and partners. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to delivering excellent client service in a fast-paced public accounting environment. Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, trust, and nonprofit income tax returns. Assist with quarterly/annual tax projections and estimated tax payments. Perform basic tax research using internal tools and authoritative sources. Maintain organized workpapers that clearly support tax return positions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, loan balances, and general ledger accounts. Assist with year-end closing and adjusting journal entries. Support bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax filings as assigned. Communicate professionally with clients to request missing information or clarify transactions. Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to professional standards. Complete assignments on schedule and communicate any delays. Participate in professional development, training, and continuing education. Support seniors and managers with special projects as needed.

$35,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
