General Ledger Accountant:

• Join a collaborative accounting team supporting budgeting, forecasting, and project-based financial reporting.
• Work closely with operational leaders and project teams on financial tracking, capital expenditures, and budget analysis.
• Great opportunity for an accounting professional with strong GL, budgeting, and advanced Excel experience. Overview of the General Ledger Accountant role:
• Prepare and post General Ledger journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
• Manage departmental budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking to ensure alignment with approved budgets and funding.
• Analyze large data sets and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets using pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.
• Work within Microsoft Dynamics to pull reports, maintain account coding, and support project and capital expenditure tracking.
• Partner with operational teams on financial analysis, grant-related reporting, payroll budgeting, and project-based accounting support. Preferred Qualifications for the General Ledger Accountant role:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Previous General Ledger accounting experience required.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Grant and fund accounting experience is a plus.

Salary:

$83,200–$90,980 annually depending on experience and qualifications. #
