This role will support the financial operations of a conglomerate of construction companies under the Custom Concrete umbrella. The ideal candidate will be responsible for multiple tasks to help produce the monthly financials. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain leases, amortization and depreciation schedules for fixed assets. Process sales tax filings accurately and timely. Process daily banking activities. Reconcile monthly bank statements. Record and reconcile journal entries in accordance with GAAP. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings. Assist with billings and payables as needed. Process other tasks and reports as requested. Support audit and compliance activities by preparing documentation and schedules. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial data integrity. Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2-4 years of accounting experience preferred (internships or construction industry experience a plus). Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar). Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
