Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our administrative team, driving excellence in financial reporting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of accounting-related functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting organizational growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong technical accounting and bookkeeping skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As an integral part of our team, you will help maintain accurate financial records, prepare essential reports, and support strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities Process and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including AP, AR, general ledger, and job costing, using Sage 100 software. Prepare and review financial statements and reports. Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely recording of expenses, payments, and collections. Assist with financial analysis and job cost data to support organizational planning and decision-making. Support internal and external audits and informational returns by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data. Maintain detailed records of financial transactions including debits & credits, journal entries, and account analysis. Coordinate and communicate responses to internal and external inquiries for efficient processing of accurate data and financial information Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with strong understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in Sage 100 accounting software, job costing, and spreadsheet programs a plus. Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and interpret complex financial data accurately. Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
