Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly close activities, ensuring journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing transactions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory activity, and production variances to provide insight into operational and financial performance.
- Prepare timely financial reports and supporting schedules for leadership, highlighting trends, risks, and key business drivers.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate cost behavior, improve reporting accuracy, and strengthen financial controls.
- Perform detailed financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making across the organization.
- Assist with inventory and cost accounting processes, including standard cost review and variance investigation where applicable. Requirements
- 4+ years of accounting experience, including senior-level responsibility in a corporate or manufacturing setting.
- Strong background in month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and general ledger management.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing cost accounting and analysis of inventory or production-related costs.
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into practical business insights.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and spreadsheet-based financial analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with operational and finance stakeholders.
