Job Description

The Big Biscuit Headquarters | Prairie Village, KS (In-Person) The Big Biscuit is a growing, multi-state restaurant brand with 30+ locations across Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. As we continue to scale through corporate and franchise growth, we are hiring a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role will assist with all aspects of the accounting cycle including, but not limited to, accounts payable, cash reconciliation and distribution, payroll, sales tax return filing, and month-end close and reporting for multiple operating locations.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable entry and statement reconciliation Deposit and bank reconciliation Credit card transaction coding and reconciliation Payroll processing Inventory database management Management reporting Royalty calculation and collection Sales Tax returns New location implementation support Journal entry preparation Financial statement preparation
What We're Looking For:
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, preferably experience with pivot tables and other complex functions Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Restaurant365 a plus Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Ability to prioritize tasks and manage several concurrent projects Ability to work independently or as part of a team, when necessary Strong understanding of GAAP About us: Founded in Independence, MO, in 2000, The Big Biscuit is a beloved Kansas City brand Headquartered in Prairie Village, Kansas Known for hometown hospitality, impossibly generous portions, and freshly prepared quality foods with comfort flavors 30+ locations in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and growing!
