Duties include monitoring accounting and lease mailboxes and taking appropriate actions, preparation of monthly journals for billing (leases), fixed asset activities and accounting projects. Skills necessary include ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients. analytical abilities with advanced MS Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities Communications Management:
Monitor and manage the central accounting and lease email inboxes daily. Triage incoming inquiries, ensure timely responses, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues or escalate requests as needed. Journal Entries & Billing:
Prepare, review, and post monthly journal entries, with a specific focus on lease administration and billing cycles. Ensure all entries are accurate and compliant with company accounting standards. Fixed Asset Accounting:
Oversee fixed asset activities, including the capitalization, depreciation, tracking, and retirement of assets. Maintain the integrity of the fixed asset ledger. Project Support:
Actively participate in and support ad-hoc accounting projects, such as process improvements, system implementations, and month-end/year-end close activities. Client Relations:
Serve as a reliable point of contact for accounting inquiries, providing high-quality support and maintaining excellent relationships with internal departments and external clients. Qualifications & Skills Analytical Abilities:
