Wieland North America (WNA) is seeking an Accounting Intern . The Accounting Intern will support the Accounting team with daily operations in SAP, with a primary focus on Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt (GR/IR) reconciliation and cleanup. This role is responsible for identifying and resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices, while supporting month-end close activities and improving financial data accuracy. This role is located at Wieland's North American Headquarters located in Louisville, KY and will be fully on-site.

Responsibilities:

Accounting Intern Responsibilities:

Analyze and reconcile GR/IR balances in SAP, focusing on aged and unmatched items. Investigate discrepancies between purchase orders, goods receipts, and vendor invoices. Collaborate with AP, Procurement, and Operations to resolve GR/IR issues. Support both pre-close and month-end close activities. Maintain accurate financial records by clearing open items and ensuring proper postings

Accounting Intern Qualifications:

Active pursuit of Accounting, Finance, or related degree Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Pivot tables and advanced formulas in MS Excel. Good time management and organizational skills Must be a team player, willing to help others as needed Strong attention to detail
