As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity across multiple entities while working closely with senior leadership. Why you'll love working here direct exposure to senior leadership opportunity to support multiple entities and gain broad accounting experience stable, established nonprofit organization with long-term impact collaborative team environment with cross-functional visibility comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage 403(b) retirement plan and paid time off What you'll do manage accounts payable processes including invoice review, coding and payment processing ensure invoices are properly authorized and aligned with purchasing policies maintain accurate financial records and support general ledger integrity assist with fixed asset tracking, depreciation and related journal entries support month-end close activities and prepare reports for leadership research and resolve discrepancies, billing issues and documentation concerns collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely transactions assist with financial analysis and reporting for community leadership provide backup support for check runs and other accounting functions contribute to process improvements and special projects as assigned What you'll bring bachelor's degree in accounting or related field or equivalent experience 4+ years of accounting experience, including accounts payable and general ledger exposure understanding of basic accounting principles, financial processes and controls experience working with accounting systems and Excel strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities critical thinking and problem-solving skills ability to communicate effectively across teams and levels of the organization commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and accountability About Masonic Homes Kentucky Masonic Homes Kentucky is a trusted leader in senior living and health services, providing care and support to residents across generations.
