Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and internal controls preferred. Must successfully pass required background screening, including employment, education, and credit history verification. Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in general accounting, manufacturing accounting, corporate accounting, or a related financial environment. Experience with fixed asset accounting, inventory accounting, accounts payable, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes preferred. Working knowledge of SAP, Sage Fixed Assets, ERP systems, and financial reporting software highly desired. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting audits, budgeting, cash flow analysis, and financial statement preparation is a plus. Physical Capabilities Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequent keyboarding, data entry, and document review activities. Ability to move throughout office and production areas as needed to verify inventory and fixed assets. Occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 10 pounds. Requires visual, auditory, and communication abilities necessary to perform accounting and reporting functions. Job Duties Maintain accurate financial records and support the recording and reporting of company financial transactions. Manage fixed assets, including capital projects, depreciation, asset tracking, and disposals. Review and reconcile accounts payable, general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and cash transactions. Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and management reports. Assist with annual budgeting, cash flow monitoring, financial analysis, and forecasting activities. Coordinate bank wire transfers, letters of credit, and communications with vendors, auditors, and corporate accounting teams. Support inventory audits, fixed asset audits, and internal control reviews. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
