Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic finance team. This is a hands-on, multi-entity financial management position designed for a professional who can move comfortably between day-to-day bookkeeping and higher-level accounting and compliance responsibilities. The individual will serve as a centralized financial and compliance resource for all companies operating under Hasan and Companies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable managing multiple legal entities simultaneously, and capable of developing systems that provide ownership with accurate, timely, and actionable financial information. Key Responsibilities Accounting and Bookkeeping Manage and review bookkeeping activities across multiple companies and LLCs. Maintain accurate general ledgers, chart of accounts, and financial records for each entity. Complete and review bank, credit card, loan, and other account reconciliations. Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity. Monitor expenses and ensure transactions are properly categorized to the appropriate company, location, and account. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure corrections are completed promptly. Maintain appropriate separation of financial activity between individual business entities. CPA and Financial Oversight Provide professional accounting oversight across Hasan and Companies. Review financial statements for accuracy and identify trends, risks, unusual transactions, and areas requiring management attention. Assist ownership with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial decision-making. Coordinate year-end accounting activities and preparation for tax filings. Work with external tax professionals, lenders, insurance professionals, attorneys, and other advisors when necessary. Maintain organized supporting documentation for financial transactions, tax matters, audits, financing, and business reviews. LLC and Entity Management Maintain an accurate master record of all LLCs and business entities under Hasan Realty and Companies. Review each entity to ensure organizational information and required documentation remain current. Track EINs, state registrations, registered agents, ownership information, operating agreements, assumed names/DBAs, and other entity records. Monitor annual reports, franchise filings, state registrations, renewals, and other recurring entity requirements. Assist with the accounting and administrative setup of newly created or acquired companies. Help ensure financial activity, contracts, accounts, and records are maintained under the appropriate legal entity. Maintain a centralized corporate entity calendar with filing and renewal deadlines. Business Compliance Develop and maintain a compliance tracking system across all companies. Monitor applicable business registrations, licenses, permits, annual filings, and renewal deadlines. Assist with sales tax, payroll tax, property-related reporting, and other business compliance obligations as applicable. Coordinate with leadership and outside professionals to address compliance deficiencies. Maintain documentation demonstrating completion of required filings and renewals. Conduct periodic internal reviews to identify missing documentation, upcoming deadlines, financial control weaknesses, or potential compliance concerns. Immediately escalate significant financial, tax, regulatory, or entity compliance risks to ownership. Internal Controls and Process Improvement Develop standardized accounting procedures across the organization. Strengthen internal controls surrounding payments, reimbursements, deposits, vendor management, credit cards, and financial documentation. Create consistent month-end and year-end closing procedures. Develop financial and compliance checklists for each company. Recommend improvements to accounting systems, documentation practices, and financial workflows. Help create scalable financial processes as Hasan Realty and Companies continues to grow and acquire or establish additional businesses. Executive Reporting Provide ownership with regular financial and compliance updates. Develop a monthly financial dashboard showing key financial indicators across companies. Report upcoming tax, licensing, registration, and compliance deadlines. Identify entities or locations requiring immediate financial or compliance attention. Provide clear explanations of financial performance and potential risks to support executive decision-making. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Active CPA license or equivalent Strong professional experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Experience working with multiple LLCs, companies, business locations, or legal entities. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial controls. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or comparable platforms. Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting. Ability to handle confidential financial and business information with discretion. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with ownership and company leadership. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a multi-company or multi-location organization. Experience with real estate, hospitality, restaurants, retail, professional services, or other privately held businesses. Experience with business acquisitions or the financial onboarding of newly acquired companies. Experience managing multi-state LLC and business compliance requirements. Familiarity with payroll, sales tax, property accounting, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions. Experience developing accounting procedures and internal controls for growing organizations.
