The Staff Accountant will perform daily accounting and financial functions for multiple companies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Maintain and audit general ledger accounts. Prepare and complete bank reconciliations. Perform year-end accounting functions. Maintain and monitor accounting controls. Prepare month-end accruals and journal entries. Assist with reviewing entered invoices and tracking outstanding invoices. Print accounts payable reports, attach checks to invoices, and verify accuracy. Monitor daily cash balances and prepare cash flow forecasts. Assist with annual CAM (Common Area Maintenance) reconciliations. Other office duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
