Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations for LLCs and small businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Process bi-weekly payroll efficiently and ensure timely payments.
• Manage accounts payable, including reconciling transactions and issuing vendor payments.
• Prepare and distribute 1099 forms for independent contractors with precision.
• Implement positive pay procedures to safeguard against check fraud.
• Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping, generating reports, and reconciling accounts.
• Collaborate with management to address financial discrepancies and maintain compliance.
• Handle corporate tax and sales tax reporting obligations.
• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Support year-end financial reporting and audit preparation.
