Job Description
Client Service:
Gains ability to handle multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts daily, weekly and monthly basis. Day toDay Transactions:
Coordinates & processes accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.Month End Processing:
Completes financial statements. Coordinates and completes account reconciliations (i.e. bank & credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals.) Completes complex account reconciliations that have been previously set up and supported by CAAS Senior, Assistant Controller, Controller or CFO.Other Quarterly/Annual Processing:
Completes sales tax returns, Form 1099s and other forms or items as requested by clients.Job Requirements:
Experience:
Accounting and financial experience is preferred.Education :
Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.Certifications/Licenses :
CPA is preferred but not required.Technical Competencies:
Proficiency and aptitude for applicable software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc). Develop working knowledge of accounting software (Quickbooks, Intacct, Xero, Bill.com, Expensify).Travel:
This position requires frequent local travel to/from client sites and may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings and/or other business-related purposes.
