Role:

As the Senior Accountant at VulcanForms, you will support core accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, analyzing financial data, and supporting inventory and cost accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments as part of the monthly close process
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and resolving variances
• Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for key balance sheet accounts
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management analyses
• Assist with ERP system processes, data validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• Provide audit support by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and responding to auditor requests
• Help maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls to support accurate financial reporting
• Support inventory and cost accounting processes as needed
• Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3?5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of general accounting principles and financial statement preparation
• Familiarity with ERP systems; Epicor experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reconciliations
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualification:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or progress toward certification

Compensation:

• Annual base salary: \$80,805 to \$111,106
