Staff Accountant

DePaola, Begg & Associates, P.C. (DBA) is a CPA firm located in Hyannis, MA that focuses on financial statement preparation, accounting, auditing, and income tax services, as well as consulting services for small to mid-sized businesses in a wide range of industries, non-profit organizations, individuals, and trusts. Candidates should have at least 1 year of public accounting experience preparing financial statements and corporate and individual tax returns in a variety of industries. Candidates with their CPA license or on track to obtain their license a plus.

Requirements:

Experience assisting clients in reconciling bank statements and account balances. Experience preparing monthly and year end financial statements. Experience in preparing corporate and partnership tax returns for small businesses. Experience preparing individual and trust tax returns. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, partner's, and staff. Experience with Quickbooks, Ultra Tax and Profx are a plus. Deadline driven and ability to manage multiple client duties.
