This position will own day-to-day AP/AR management and play a key role in inventory cycle counts, month-end, and year-end activities. This position is ideal for an accounting professional who is looking to broaden their experience across financial reporting and process improvement within a fast-growing security integration company. Responsibilities Manage accounts payable, including verifying and coding invoices Prepare weekly aging reports and weekly check run Daily cash reconciliation Manage accounts receivable, including payment application, account reconciliations, and collection of past-due invoices Prepare and maintain sales commission reports Perform reconciliations and accruals as part of the month-end close process Perform month-end bank and credit card reconciliations and record related transactions Prepare and file state sales tax returns Assist with the annual review and provide supporting schedules and documentation Bill customer service tickets and projects, monthly AIA billing and maintenance Work with Controller to prepare timely and accurate financial statements Field questions from vendors and customers Onboard and maintain subcontractors Manage inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation Collaborate with other departments on accounting-related projects and process improvements Assist with month-end and year-end close activities Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience QuickBooks Desktop experience is a plus; training will be provided Extremely detail-oriented Ability to work independently and within a group setting Excellent communication skills Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial functions Strong prioritization skills Ability to multi-task
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
