Job Description:
Our client, a global event services company is seeking a Senior Accountant in their South Easton Location. seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is primarily responsible for credit card reconciliations, bank reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and supporting job cost accounting activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a collegial, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly and periodic credit card reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities Complete timely and accurate bank reconciliations Prepare and reconcile inter-company transactions and balances Support job cost accounting by reviewing coding, tracking project costs, and assisting with cost analysis Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and reconciling items Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure proper financial reporting Prepare reports, schedules, and analyses for management as needed Help improve accounting processes and internal controls Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 3+ years of accounting experience preferred Strong reconciliation and general ledger experience Experience with job cost accounting or construction/project-based accounting is a plus Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software applications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Personal Attributes Analytical thinker with strong follow-through Collegial, professional, and easy to work with Strong communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated with a positive attitude Team-oriented and adaptable in a collaborative work environment
