Accounting Department-On Site RolePosition Title:
Accounting Reconciliation & Audit SpecialistReports to: VP & Controller
JOB SUMMARY
Position is responsible for performing the general accounting functions of the Bank. Responsible for the preparation of accounting and regulatory reports. Will require interactions with Bank management and other employees as well as internal and external auditors. Provides backup for other accounting department functions. Needs to be detail oriented and able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently with a high degree of accuracy and with minimal errors. Proficiency is needed in spreadsheet and word processing programs as well as various financial systems.

DUTIES (ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
)Responsible for preparing/scanning various reconciliations, including investments and fixed assets.

Prepares monthly accounting entries.

Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements and detailed financial package for Executive Board of Directors.

Prepares a variety of financial and management reports.

Provides materials for internal and external auditors as requested.

Assists with implementation of new procedures as needed, to comply with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Assists in preparation of FDIC Call Report, CECL and other regulatory reports.

Provides backup and assistance for other accounting positions.

Perform similar duties as requested or required by supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree or equivalent experience (in Accounting or Finance is preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal guidanceMust be able to handle sensitive and confidential dataExcellent problem-solving skillsAttention to detail is criticalGreenfield Savings Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
