ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a fully integrated design-build construction management firm that focuses on providing technical and professional services to program, plan, and build the business infrastructure necessary for the growth and success of their clients. Their employees excel at working with corporate clients and developers, understanding their businesses, and creating facilities that make their businesses better. Since 1985, they have provided exceptional design, engineering, and construction services for hundreds of clients - building success one project at a time. They are seeking a Project Accountant with an interest in construction administration and accounting. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting administration of projects. The project accountant will collaborate with all members of the project team including the project managers, architects and engineers, project superintendents, preconstruction project planners as well as owners, subcontractors and other business partners.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Preparations of owner requisitions and collection of payments including the timely submission of pay applications, lien waivers, job cost substantiation and owner requested schedules. Risk management and subcontractor compliance including filing the proper notifications and processing of all paperwork to ensure timely and accurate subcontractor and vendor payments. Assist with monthly preparation and submission of project forecasts and job cost schedules including over and under billing adjustments and proper review and calculation of percentage of completion on active projects. Close out of projects including issuing final change orders, credits and adjustments as well as calculating final GMP contract values and savings calculations in accordance with the terms and conditions of the prime contract. General support of all operations staff and provide and assist with other duties and tasks on an as-needed basis.

WHAT YOU NEED

Strong analytical skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks while producing quality and consistent Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Experience in project management and accounting software packages (i.e. Procore or Sage/Timberline, etc.). Ability to work onsite, Monday - Friday

Compensation:
