This person will prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, yield analysis, and key financial ratios for senior management along with preparing quarterly and periodic regulatory reports for agencies including the FDIC and Federal Reserve.
Responsiblities:
Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, yield analysis, and key financial ratios for senior management and the Board of Directors. Prepare quarterly and periodic regulatory reports for agencies including the FDIC and Federal Reserve. Reconcile assigned General Ledger accounts and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely resolution. Process monthly intercompany eliminations and consolidations for balance sheet and income statement reporting. Prepare and process assigned month-end journal entries. Assist with investment accounting and transactions, including purchases, sales, payments, maturities, and calls. Support year-end audited financial statements and related footnotes. Assist with financial statements for real estate subsidiaries. Support documentation of accounting policies, procedures, FDICIA internal controls, and Finance-related risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of related experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple priorities. #
