Senior Accountant – Watertown, MA $90K–$100K A growing, private equity-backed organization in Watertown is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its accounting team. Why This Senior Accountant Opportunity Stands Out Join a growing organization backed by a larger industry platform Work closely with finance leadership and gain visibility across the business Take ownership of key areas of the month-end close and financial reporting process Gain exposure to operational accounting, forecasting, analysis, and process improvement Opportunity to help strengthen accounting processes as the company continues to scale Senior Accountant Responsibilities Prepare journal entries, accruals, reclasses, and account reconciliations as part of the monthly close Analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts and investigate variances Maintain supporting schedules, bank reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation Assist with cash forecasting, financial analysis, and special accounting projects Partner with AP, AR, and operational teams to improve processes and resolve accounting issues Senior Accountant Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong GAAP, general ledger, accrual accounting, and month-end close experience Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookup functions Experience within construction, project-based services, field services, or a similar environment is a plus #LI-JS33 EB-1473290918
